Michelle Kapler R.TCMP R.Ac FABORM
Owner and Clinical Director
Registered Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine Practitioner
Fellow of The American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine

Picture
Michelle is a Registered Acupuncturist, Herbalist and the clinical director of The Toronto Reproductive Acupuncture Clinic. She is one of only four practitioners in the province of Ontario who have challenged the exam to become a fellow of the American Board or Oreintal Reproductive Medicine, the governing body for fertility specialists in the USA. Her practice is focused exclusively in fertility, pregnancy and gynecology.

She graduated from the Institute of Traditional Medicine in 2010 with a diploma in acupuncture. After this, she went on to complete diplomas in both Eastern Chinese Herbal Medicine and Western Herbal Medicine. She then pursued post graduate studies in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) Fertility and Gynecology as well as Conventional Modern Fertility Medicine.

Michelle grew up in beautiful Stratford Ontario, with a family who embraced healthy lifestyle and alternative medicine. She knew from a very young age that she was meant to be in a healing profession. Her first career was as a dental hygienist, which she practiced for ten years. Partway through her dental career, she decided to go back to school for acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She was craving a more creative approach to healthcare and wanted to help people on a deeper level.

After going through her own struggles with fertility and gynecology and finding it incredibly difficult to navigate the medical system as a unique individual patient, she became inspired to focus her practice on fertility and gynecology, with the hopes of inspiring self advocacy in her patients going through fertility treatments. Her mission is to provide creative, individualized, custom care for her patients, which is something she felt was lacking in her experience.

When Michelle isn’t working at her clinic, The Toronto Reproductive Acupuncture Clinic, you can find her creating healthfully indulgent meals, drinking herbal tea, reading the latest journal article or research on fertility and gynecology or hanging out with her husband and daughter in their backyard garden.

Jen Dickey R.Ac - Registered Acupuncturist

Picture
Jen graduated from the acupuncture program at Eight Branches Academy of Eastern Medicine in 2016 and is a registered member of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO). She is clinically trained in Chinese and Japanese acupuncture techniques.

From the onset of her training it has been her ambition to focus her expertise on women’s health, pregnancy care and fertility. She is a warm, compassionate practitioner, who believes patient education integrated with treatments is essential to achieving internal balance, for successful conception and a healthy pregnancy.

Prior to studying acupuncture, she received a diploma in Social Service Work and went on to travel the world. It was while living in Sichuan, China where she experienced the benefits of Traditional Chinese Medicine first hand.

When Jen’s not working, you can find her sitting in a park with her head in a book, hiking or biking along many of Toronto’s nature trails, or enjoying a good meal and a good laugh with loved ones.

Dr Jennah Miller ND - Naturopathic Doctor

Picture
Jennah Miller is a Naturopathic Doctor with a passion for co-creating the health of weird, wild, and badass women. Focusing strongly on fertility and menstrual health, Dr. Jennah understands that women are not simply small men, and is resolute in her belief that you deserve more than one size fits all medicine. Dr. Jennah provides a female-centered healthcare model that empowers women, and allows them to feel safe and heard, while working through their health and fertility concerns in a sustainable way.

As a woman navigating the conventional medical system herself, Dr. Jennah has often felt that her concerns were dismissed and ignored. She is determined to make sure her fertility patients never face this same struggle, and is passionate about providing them with patient-centered care and advocacy. Ultimately, women are treated as their conditions, and not the unique individuals that they are, and Dr. Jennah is ready to change that. She believes above all, that you are important and worth your own time. Every. Single. Day.

Dr. Jennah graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine with a special interest in fertility and reproductive health, as well as a passion for teaching women how to connect with the shifting tides of their own bodies. While finishing her degree, Dr. Jennah completed additional training though a fertility and reproductive health focused internship, where she learned how to support couples and individuals from pre-conception to pregnancy.

Outside of the clinic, you can find Dr. Jennah reading/listening to podcasts about the wild woman movement, visiting farmer’s markets, and trying/failing to keep her houseplants alive.

Dr. Sarah DiMunno ND - Naturopathic Doctor

Picture
Dr. Sarah DiMunno is a Naturopathic Doctor that loves to empower women about their reproductive health and fertility. She provides options to improve conception and a listening ear that you might not be getting anywhere else.

She graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine where she was chosen to complete an internship with a special interest in fertility and reproductive health. Here she learned to apply current research to create plans that optimize IVF outcomes.

Her interest in this area stemmed from her personal journey in women’s health and the lack of options given within the conventional medical system. It wasn’t until Dr. Sarah saw a Naturopathic Doctor herself, that she was able to continue to live her life without her reproductive health holding her back and she wants the same for you.

Dr. Sarah typically focuses on strengthening the foundations of health using evidence based medicine. More specifically this can include counselling, hormone building nutrition, fertility acupuncture, balancing botanicals, and lots of self-care by you! Any recommendations she makes will take into consideration your personal lifestyle and resources to ensure these changes are realistic and sustainable.

Dr. Sarah is a professional member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND), and is regulated under the College of Naturopaths of Ontario.
